It's not really fiction though is it.

When an artist understands a story he needs to tell... that idea becomes living, walking with him everywhere, influencing how he perceives and affects the world.

And the readers, when that story he tells illuminates a part of their world, when they're inspired, hopeful or feel just a little less alone because they heard the message, then I don't think we can call if fiction anymore.

If the story has stuck with one person, they no doubt pass it on without realizing it, and the hope or insight or whatever it is, gets continuously shared. Like a recipe... but for peace

So how can it be called fiction? These pieces of art are as real as it gets because they change us.

Peyton Sawyer makes me feel less alone.
…I don’t know who I am anymore. Or how I got here. I miss who I used to be. I wanna have a home again, ya know? And real friends. You know, the kind of friendships we used to believe in. I miss that. And I miss you. I guess I just miss all of it. Does any of that make any sense?

Her vulnerability and devastation without shame is so beautiful to me.
Because Mr. Schwahn was brave enough to share his world, mine is more hopeful.
Your art matters.
